HOUSTON, TEXAS, June 16, 2004 - - Texas Memory Systems, manufacturer of the World's Fastest Storage®, announced that the RamSan-320 solid state disk has completed interoperability testing with McDATA's portfolio of storage networking products as part of the McDATAÔ OPENreadyÒ Tested program. This designation assures customers that McDATA and Texas Memory Systems products are interoperable and that they will not encounter some of the more frustrating and costly incompatibilities that are common in SAN infrastructures. Texas Memory Systems is currently the only solid state disk vendor qualified for McDATA's OPENready certification. Users with demanding SAN-based applications, such as databases, OLTP (online transaction processing), and OLAP (online analytical processing), can increase their performance and scale effectively with RamSan-320 storage. RamSan solid state disk is interoperable in heterogeneous SAN environments and is widely deployed across all major platforms and operating systems.
